The Bruguera Academy offers a fully adapted education system through an international programme with emphasis on languages. As a result, players are able to combine the demands of sport with academic achievement and prepare themselves for professional development.
The centre trusts this service to IMSE International Management Sports Education, a company with a global vision that integrates sport with education, views sport as vital to the physical and emotional advancement of young people and promotes social, cultural and professional development.
The Academy offers three programmes: High School (secondary education), Middle School and a transition programme. The High School programme follows an American curriculum and is intended for students aged 14 to 18. It was specifically designed to give players the flexibility to train and compete without having to sacrifice a quality education that prepares them for university. With this programme, we also offer students academic advice, university guidance and orientation for new students.
The Middle School programme, which is taught entirely in English, prepares students for High School as it also follows an American curriculum.
Lastly, the transition programme has been specifically designed to prepare students with a low level of English for entry into the other education programmes. On the other hand, all students are eligible to sign up for our intensive English or Spanish programmes and improve their language skills. We also offer private language classes, as well as a number of other specialised training services (e.g. test prep).
Knowledge of languages is one of the cornerstones of our programme
IMSE endeavours to achieve the highest goals and develop the moral values of its students and athletes, so that they may succeed in today’s highly competitive society. Thus, with a global vision, it prepares students interested in taking the American university entrance exams through a specific SAT and TOEFL prep system.
